Qatar national football team participated in a training session open to the fans and the media at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club, after returning from its external camp as part of its preparations for the final stage of preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The training was attended by HE President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, several QFA officials, and a large audience in the framework of the promotional campaign launched by the Federation to support the elements of "Al Adaam".

Qatar team will enter a final camp in the Spanish city of Marbella, starting next Thursday, during which it will play several friendly matches to reach full readiness before the start of the World Cup against Ecuador on an opening day on November 20 at Al Bayt Stadium.

The Spanish football coach, Felix Sanchez expressed his pride in being at the helm of the technical management of the first Qatari team to participate in the World Cup throughout history, pointing out that everyone within the team's system is working hard to present an honorable image and delight the Qatari fans who eagerly await the team's appearance in the World Cup.

The captain of the Qatari national team, Hassan Al Haydos, expressed his great happiness with the large presence of the fans in the training, considering that this will have a good impact on the morale of the player.

While Qatar national team defender, Tariq Salman stressed that the large presence of the fans in the team's training today is a message of support to all players to continue work during the last sensitive and important stage to reach full readiness before the start of the World Cup.

Regarding the teams chances in the World Cup, Karim Boudiaf explained that the task will not be easy, which requires that the team be fully prepared, stressing the importance of the opening match, given that a good initiation will double the chances of the competition to qualify for the second round. 

For his part, Boualem Khoukhi, defender of the Qatari national team, confirmed that the focus of all the players is on training and preparing strongly for the world finals with the best degree of readiness, adding that participating in the World Cup is a dream for every player and means a lot to Qatar, and the team's goal is to honor Qatari football with a good attendance that makes Al Annabi fans happy.

In turn, Qatar national team midfielder Assim Madibo expressed his happiness with the great public support that accompanied the trainings, indicating that the national team showed good levels against Chile, provided a distinctive confrontation and also appeared some mistakes, which will be addressed in this preparatory period.

Bassam Al Rawi, a defender of the Qatar national team, explained that preparations started last June, where the team played about 20 matches with many national teams, looking forward to showing the expected level at the World Cup, expressing gladness to have a large public presence at the first appearance after the team's return to Doha.

Abdulkarim Hassan, player of the Qatari team and the best player in Asia 2018, confirmed the team's readiness technically and physically, explaining that the team is looking for appearing in an honorable way in the first participation after the 4-month preparations period.

Executive director of the national football teams Talal Al Kaabi said that the stands of the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium were decorated with the logos and colors of the Qatari national team, and the Qatari flags were raised high amid a beautiful scene, in addition to distinctive cheers mixed with motivational songs that encouraged the players while they went down to the playground for training.

Al Kaabi pointed out that the attendance of the fans in such large numbers reflects the extent of their love and passion for football, as well as their keenness to be among the players and in the heart of the event.

In the same context, the director of marketing and communication at Qatar Football Association Khalid Al Kuwari confirmed that the large mass attendance is part of the promotional campaign to support the Qatari national team at the 2022 World Cup, in light of the launch of new content provided by QFA to all its followers and fans of Qatari football.

Al Kuwari concluded that the themes of "For the love of Qatar" and "Make us stronger with your cheering" were chosen to emphasize the importance of the role of the fans in the next stage, and that Qatar's success at the 2022 World Cup requires everyone's solidarity and the fans ' standing behind the national team, pointed out that despite the participation of the Qatar national team, the Asian champion, for the first time in the World Cup finals, it has special players to be proud of, who provide good levels and can appear distinctively, thanking Shafallah center employees who were present a lot at today's trainings.
