HH the Amir meets Crown Prince of Jordan at Amiri Diwan

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al‑Thani met on Monday at the Amiri Diwan with HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

At the outset, HH the Amir welcomed the Crown Prince, affirming the depth of the fraternal ties between Qatar and Jordan. HRH Al Hussein conveyed greetings from HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, along with wishes of continued health and happiness for HH the Amir and prosperity for the Qatari people.

During the meeting, HRH Al Hussein underscored the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable de‑escalation, stressing Jordan’s full support for Qatar and regional partners in safeguarding security and sovereignty. He reiterated Jordan’s condemnation of attacks targeting Qatar and expressed solidarity with the State.

HH the Amir entrusted HRH the Crown Prince to convey his greetings to HM King Abdullah II, wishing His Majesty good health and wellbeing, and the Jordanian people continued growth and prosperity. HH the Amir also expressed appreciation for Jordan’s supportive stance, highlighting the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation on regional developments to strengthen security and stability.

Both sides reviewed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation. They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments.
