Hayya Platform Silver Stevie Award
Qatar Tourism recently revealed that the Hayya Platform has won the Silver Award in the "Innovation in Public Administration" category at the 2026 Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa for its path-breaking work providing advanced digital solutions in travel, tourism and events management.
The statement said the platform has now emerged as an integrated digital system for e-visa application, event access and permit issuance and linked with government systems. It also includes an app (mobile app), Hayya Portal (HMP), Accreditation and Permits System (HACS), Hayya Move, Reporting System (HRS) and Group Visa & Accreditation service (GVA). Such an ecosystem provides enhancements to operations efficiency and overall user experience.
The platform is enabled by using technology like optical character recognition, artificial intelligence for image verification and near-field communication passport scan for minimal data entry.
Hayya Saeed Al Kuwari, director of Hayya said the recognition comes in light of the ongoing efforts to develop and evolve the Hayya platform as a national platform that enabled supporting digital transformation in the tourism ecosystem.
We stayed with developing solutions that focus on exposing operational efficiency, and providing a seamless experience for visitors and partners to contribute to the tourism ecosystem sustainable growth in Qatar, he said.
Maggie Mille, President of the Stevie Awards commented; we are pleased to acknowledge this impressive range of organizations from across the Middle East and North Africa within the 2026 Stevie Awards MENA and hope to celebrate them all at our ceremony on September 11 in Turkiye's InterContinental Istanbul.
Hayya, an official e-visa platform from Qatar Tourism that integrates visa and event services into a singularly optimized digital gateway will serve as the streamlined gateway to enter the country.
