Doha, September 15, 2026 : Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has joined the Strategic Sponsors of the third Qatar International Medical Devices and Healthcare Exhibition and Conference (QMED 2026).
QMED 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16, 2026, at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), under the official patronage of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). The event will bring together leading healthcare institutions, medical and technology companies, industry experts, and decision-makers from Qatar and around the world.
Through its role as a Strategic Sponsor, HMC will contribute to strengthening QMED 2026 as a platform connecting Qatar’s healthcare sector with international manufacturers, medical technology providers, healthcare professionals, and industry experts.
The exhibition is expected to feature around 150 local and international companies and institutions, alongside international pavilions representing various global markets. The event will also include a specialized scientific conference, workshops, and other activities bringing together healthcare professionals, experts, and decision-makers.
QMED 2026 will cover a broad range of healthcare sectors, including medical devices and supplies, healthcare equipment, diagnostics and laboratory technologies, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, digital health and artificial intelligence, medical education and training, medical tourism and wellness, and healthcare logistics and supply chains.
Chairman of the QMED Organizing Committee Khalifa bin Salman Al Muhannadi expressed appreciation for HMC’s support, describing the participation of Qatar’s leading national healthcare institution as a significant endorsement of the exhibition and its objectives.
Al Muhannadi said HMC’s involvement further strengthens QMED 2026’s position as a platform showcasing the breadth of Qatar’s healthcare sector and connecting it with the international healthcare community.
He added that QMED 2026 aims to bring together healthcare institutions, international companies, manufacturers, suppliers, investors, experts, and decision-makers to exchange knowledge, establish partnerships, and explore opportunities for cooperation and investment.
Al Muhannadi also highlighted HMC’s expected contribution to the exhibition’s scientific and professional program, noting that its participation would help enrich discussions on the future development of healthcare.
