H.H. the Amir issues decision to restructure Qatar Investment Authority Board of Directors

Qatar Investment Authority

The Amiri Decision No. (14) of 2026 which restructured the Board of Directors of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), was issued by H.H. Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Under this decision, the Board of Directors of the Qatar Investment Authority shall comprise of: H.E. Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani — Chairman, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani — Vice Chairman, H.E. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari — member, H.E. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi — member, H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani— member, along with members: Nasser bin Ghanim A l Khelaifi and Hassan bin Abdullah Al Thawadi. 

The order is effective from its date; the document released by the U.S. itself says it will be published in the official gazette.
