H.H. Amir holds a phone call with H.E. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun

The Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a phone call with the President Joseph Aoun of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon.

They also discussed the latest updates regarding Lebanon, especially on the ramifications of ongoing escalations and their impact on Lebanon's security and stability. In this context, His Highness the Emir condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon and reaffirmed his rejection of any aggression against its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

They also reviewed the regional and international efforts to contain the escalation, with His Highness the Emir reiterating State of Qatar’s firm support for Lebanon and its people, highlighting that Qatar is ready to provide support and assistance and to contribute towards all efforts.
