GCCJPPI launches “Our Gulf Flourishes” campaign to bolster shared identity

KUWAIT CITY — The Kuwait-based GCC Joint Program Production Institution (GCCJPPI) has launched “Our Gulf Flourishes,” a media campaign built around a new musical work aimed at strengthening a shared Gulf identity among families and younger generations.

Director-General of the GCCJPPI, Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said the campaign is directed at the Gulf family, and children in particular, seeking to promote a common Gulf identity and reinforce values of belonging, unity and solidarity among the peoples of the GCC states through creative content designed for new audiences.

Speaking to KUNA on Wednesday, Sheikh Mubarak said the initiative comes in the context of current regional circumstances, carrying an artistic message that reinforces awareness of a shared destiny.
The musical piece highlights the achievements of the GCC countries, he added, including their milestones and their resilience in confronting challenges and threats. He described the production as a contemporary Gulf model that brings together identity, artistic creativity and advanced technology.

The work was produced by a group of Gulf creative talents, with Manal Al-Gharaballi as creative director, Ahmed Boudham directing, Mishari Al-Sari' writing and composing the music, and artist Mariam Shehab performing the song.
The campaign aims to strengthen communication with Gulf families and highlight the shared cultural values and achievements that bind the peoples of the GCC states.

Based in Kuwait, the GCCJPPI produces joint media and programming content for audiences across the six-nation bloc, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with a remit that combines Gulf heritage and tradition with modern production.
