Formula 1 Confirms 2026 Calendar with Qatar and Abu Dhabi Season Finale

Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali has confirmed the official 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar, with Qatar and Abu Dhabi once again set to host the final two races of the season. The back-to-back Gulf events will conclude a landmark campaign that introduces new technical regulations, sustainable fuels and new manufacturers.

Qatar Grand Prix Returns

The Qatar Grand Prix will take place at Lusail International Circuit on November 27–29, 2026. The race remains a key fixture on the Formula 1 calendar and will serve as the penultimate round of the championship.

Abu Dhabi to Host the Finale

The season will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit on December 4–6, 2026. The venue has become Formula 1's traditional season finale and is expected to play a decisive role in the championship battle.
