First Nespresso Lounge in the GCC opens at Qatar's Al Dana Club

Al Dana Club in Doha has officially launched the first Nespresso Lounge in the GCC, adding a new permanent hospitality experience to its offerings.

The new Nespresso Lounge was unveiled at Al Dana Club in Doha, Qatar, on September 2, 2026. The lounge is part of the club’s permanent hospitality offering and is open to the public.

The dedicated space is designed to offer visitors a Nespresso coffee experience while providing a setting for conversation, social gatherings and future member experiences.

Hospitality Leaders Attend Launch

The launch event brought together senior hospitality executives, business partners, media representatives, content creators and invited guests.

Among those attending were Fahad Abdulla Al Mana, Chief Executive Officer of Katara Hospitality; Adolph Spiro; H.E. Florence Tinguely Mattli, Ambassador of Switzerland to Qatar; Ashraf Abu Issa; and Ahmad Gaber of Nespresso.

Al Dana Club Celebrates 30 Years in Doha

Established in 1996, Al Dana Club is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Doha in 2026.

The new Nespresso Lounge marks another step in the club’s ongoing development while maintaining the sense of community, familiarity and hospitality that has defined Al Dana Club over the years.

New Space to Host Future Experiences

Jafar Ibrahim, Director of Sales and Marketing at Al Dana Club, said the launch represents more than simply being the first Nespresso Lounge in the GCC.

He highlighted the club’s vision for the lounge to become part of everyday life at Al Dana Club while creating opportunities for new experiences and ideas in the future.

Lounge to Host Events and Public Experiences

The Nespresso Lounge will serve as a platform for future member events, public Nespresso experiences and continued collaboration between Al Dana Club and Nespresso.

The space is expected to add a new dimension to the club’s hospitality offering and provide visitors with a dedicated setting to enjoy Nespresso coffee.

The launch event was supported by Desert Tulip, which provided floral arrangements throughout the occasion, adding to the overall setting and presentation of the new lounge.
