Dreama and Mwani Qatar Conclude "Little Captain" Program

DOHA — The Orphan Care Center (Dreama) of the Qatar Social Work Foundation, in cooperation with Mwani Qatar, has concluded the "Little Captain" program, an initiative aimed at introducing children to the maritime and logistics sector in the State of Qatar through a series of educational and interactive activities hosted at the Hamad Port Visitor Center.

Introducing Children to the Maritime World

The program was designed to familiarise children with Qatar's maritime and logistics sector, offering them a hands-on introduction to one of the country's most vital industries. Through a range of educational and interactive activities, the children learned about the work of the ports sector and the important role it plays in supporting the national economy.

The activities were hosted at the Hamad Port Visitor Center, providing participants with an engaging environment in which to explore the workings of Qatar's largest commercial port and gain insight into the maritime and logistics field.

A Partnership Serving the Community

The initiative reflects the fruitful cooperation between Dreama, which has provided care for orphans in Qatar since its establishment in 2002, and Mwani Qatar, the company responsible for managing the nation's seaports and shipping terminals. By combining Dreama's commitment to the care and development of children with Mwani Qatar's expertise in the ports and logistics sector, the "Little Captain" program offered participants a unique and enriching experience.
