Countdown-Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 Book
In a festive atmosphere and under the auspices of the Supreme Committee for Legacy and Delivery during the Qatar National Sports Day, the book "Countdown-Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022" was launched. This book had been prepared by Dr. Buthaina Hassan Al Ansari, published by the Hawkama Center and sponsored by Msheireb Properties, Alfardan Group, Al Sulaiteen Agricultural and Industrial Complex (SAIC), Thani Bin Ali Al Thani Law Firm and Al Adeed Law Firm.Â
During the inauguration ceremony sponsored by Msheireb Museums and attended by about 12 ambassadors and a large number of foreign diplomats and public figures, HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, Minister of the State and President of Qatar National Library, said: "It is my pleasure to address you today on this outstanding occasion; namely the Sports Day and the launch of "Countdown-Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022." I am pleased to say that Qatar FIFA World Cup will have a cultural impact of which we are proud across generations." Â Â
The book provides a brief history on FIFA World Cup since its inception in Uruguay in 1930. The book also highlights the Qatari efforts to improve the living conditions of migrant workers in the State of Qatar.
