If you like your luxury with a dramatic flourish, Place Vendôme is something else entirely in Qatar. Inspired by the grand Parisian square, this mall is quite spectacular thanks to an expansive open-air channel, dancing water fountains and the largest collection of flagship designer boutiques in the world (one entire wing reserved for top-end couture and jewellery houses). The night laser and fountain show alone makes it worth the trip there.
