Doha, October 18, 2026: Singapore Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong visited the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) on Sunday as part of his official visit to the country.
Accompanied by HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad Al-Thani, Wong toured the museum’s galleries, exploring its notable collections and learning about its historical treasures through an audio guide.
The tour featured exhibitions tracing Qatar’s geological formation, natural environments, archaeological heritage and petroglyphs, as well as the traditional lives of Qatari communities on land and along the coast. He also visited a digital exhibition highlighting the country’s heritage.
Wong viewed collections showcasing pearl heritage and jewellery design before exploring galleries documenting Qatar’s modern history following the discovery of oil and natural gas.
