Saudi Prince and UAE Crown Prince Meet in Abu Dhabi to Cement RelationsThe United Arab Emirates and Qatar reiterated their fraternal relations as well pledged to enhance cooperation at a high-level meeting on Wednesday held in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi. At the outset of the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman conveyed to the UAE President the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, asking him to convey his wishes for more progress and prosperity for the United Arab Emirates and its people. For his part, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed returned the expression through a phone call in which he congratulated His Highness the Emir of Qatar and wished the Qatari people further progress.

The two leaders also reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation in various area consistent with the shared vision and close bond between the two Gulf nations. They further exchanged views on regional and international developments of common concern, underlining the need for dialogue, unity and cooperation as a method to preserve peace, security and long-term stability throughout the area.
