Ministry of Labour launches enhanced e-services.

The Ministry of Labour introduces two electronic service updates, allowing for the online renewal or cancellation of a labor recruitment office license. This enhancement aligns with the ministry's digital transformation strategy, aiming to improve efficiency, streamline transactions, and simplify procedures.

Employers and recruitment office owners are required to apply for license renewal electronically on the Ministry of Labour's website at least one month prior to expiration.

To qualify for renewal, the establishment must have an active EID and valid commercial registration, with no bans or personal bans on the new owner, no pending renewal requests, and no complaints lodged against the office.

If seeking the cancellation of a labor recruitment office license, the application will be approved under the condition that there are no bans on the establishment, no personal bans on the current owner, no complaints against the office, and at least nine months have elapsed since the office's closure announcement in an official newspaper.

The Ministry of Labour has introduced an extensive digital platform for its services in collaboration with relevant authorities to uphold service quality. Currently, the Ministry offers 80 electronic services through its website.
