Temporary shutdown of Ras Abu Abboud Street's Service Road to Hamad Airport

Road Closure Alert

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and the General Directorate of Traffic have announced the temporary closure of the service road leading to Hamad International Airport on Ras Abu Abboud Street.

A stretch of the street will be closed beginning from 1 am to 10 am on Saturday, August 27, and continuing on Sunday, August 28 from 1 am to 5 am.

The closure is required to complete the remaining construction work on the 974 Stadium pedestrian bridge.

Ashghal advised motorists to continue down Ras Abu Abboud Street to reach Hamad International Airport. This was the path they would take to get to their objective.
