Samuel Etoo Visits Africa and Promotes the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar

Samuel Eto'o met with the fans from Cameroon, Senegal and Ghana on his recent African Tour

Samuel Eto’o was pleased to participate in the West Africa tour to promote the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as an ambassador of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. The tour also included a visit to Ghana and Senegal.

Having been a part of Barcelon, Inter Milan and Chelsea Eto’o is a star and he met fans as well as notable personnel who will be competing in the upcoming tournament from 20th November to 18th December. 
 
The artists from all three countries seek to capture the essence of Africa and they have released multiple songs for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
 
Eto’o mentioned that the excitement was through the roof for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in his statement on the Supreme Committee’s website. He stated that the fans look forward to their stay in Qatar through the World Cup to experience the atmosphere and to meet new people from around the world.

Faisal Khalid, the Ambassadors Program Officer for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), also praised Eto’o’s reception in his tour through Senegal, Ghana and Cameroon. 
 
Qatar and especially the Supreme Committee cannot wait to receive the fans from Africa and from around the world to experience one of if not the greatest sports event in the world, indicated Faisal in his statement. 
 
During his tour of Cameroon Eto’o, briefed the fans that are planning to take part in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, hosted training sessions for aspiring young players and visited an orphanage in Yaounde 
 
Next, Eto’o visited Senegal for three days, where after the success of the recent CAF Africa Cup of Nations the World Cup hopes and expectations are up. 

Eto’o visited the Generation Foot Academy, which is responsible for elevating Sadio Mane to stardom, he also met with Senegal FIFA 2002 quarter finals players as well as the fans, influencers and the media. 
 
Eto’o spent the last three days of his tour in Ghana, where he appeared on Ghanian Radio and TV. He even stopped to enjoy watch a match of football along with fans at a local restaurant.
