On March 20, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is easing some precautionary measures for Covid-19 in schools and kindergartens.

All students in public and private schools and kindergartens will not be required to wear face masks in school. Those who wish to wear them can continue to do so.

Continuing to conduct the home antigen rapid test for non-vaccinated and unrecovered students on a weekly basis, according to the pre-established procedures.

The Ministry affirms its concern for the safety of students and commitment to ensuring the educational process is conducted in a manner most appropriate to circumstances and development.
