Qatar Gulf Games 2026
Qatar maintained its top position in the overall medal chart at the conclusion of Friday's 4th Gulf Games Doha 2026 with a total of an impressive 82 medals.
Qatar has so far racked up 30 golds, 26 silvers and 26 bronzes to stay clear of the competition among Gulf Nations.
Qatar had yet another golden day on Friday, with 28 medals overall from events in swimming, athletics, shooting, fencing, billiards and equestrian. On the day, India won a total of nine golds, eight silvers and 11 bronze medals.
Saudi Arabia claimed second spot in the tally with 51 medals (20 gold, 15 silver and 16 bronze), while Bahrain came third with its total of 41 medals (16 gold, 17 silver and eight bronze).
Oman entered fourth place as it raised its medal count to 20, including seven golds, three silvers and 10 bronzes.
UAE is in fifth place with 32 medals (six gold, nine silver, and 17 bronze) while Kuwait is sixth overall also with 32 medals but this time the breakdown is four gold down to 11 silver and 17 bronzes.
Action continues on Saturday at the Gulf Games Doha 2026 with athletics, shooting, snooker, padel, table tennis and volleyball and handball events scheduled.
