Qatar condemns renewed Iranian attacks on UAE, expresses solidarity and support

On 4 May 2026 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning new Iranian missile and drone attacks against the UAE.

The statement was as follows:

The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation for the continuation of Iranian attacks on civilian areas and facilities in the sisterly country United Arab Emirates by hitting them with missiles and drones, which led to the injury of three Indian nationals.

Qatar condemns this brazen attack as a violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates and a serious threat to regional security and stability.

Qatar expressed full solidarity with the UAE and supports all measures taken by it to maintain its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity in a statement issued on Tuesday morning by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In its statement, the Ministry also wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
