HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of Qatar, held talks in Doha with Lt. Gen. Khaled Daraj Saad Al‑Shari’an, Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, who was accompanied by a senior military delegation during their official visit to Qatar.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the latest regional and security developments and to explore avenues for enhancing defence cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries. Discussions highlighted the importance of reinforcing military collaboration in light of current challenges, reflecting the shared commitment of Qatar and Kuwait to safeguarding stability and security in the Gulf region.

The meeting was attended by Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, along with a number of senior officers from both sides.
