Qatar Tourism has joined forces with Expo 2023 Doha, offering training to over 800 staff and volunteers involved in the event. Two training initiatives from Qatar Tourism's Service Excellence Academy aim to enhance the guest experience.

Over 210 Expo 2023 Doha staff have undergone the Service Excellence In-person Training, which is a tailored course emphasizing hands-on activities and role-playing to enhance service quality and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, more than 600 staff and volunteers have completed the 'Qatar Host' online course, designed to equip professionals with essential skills for an unforgettable guest experience. This program offers three learning paths based on professionals' interaction level with tourists.

Moza Al Meadadi, from Qatar Tourism's Marketing and Promotion Sector, stressed the importance of providing visitors with a memorable experience. Hayfa Al Otaibi, PR and Communication Manager at Expo 2023 Doha, praised the collaboration for enhancing staff capabilities and instilling national pride.

Service Excellence is central to Qatar's 2030 national tourism vision. In tandem with stakeholders, Qatar Tourism focuses on evaluating and training frontline professionals to guarantee top-tier service to visitors.
