Qatar Red Crescent Provides Rehabilitation and Lodging Support for 21,000 Palestinians in Gaza

The Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) announced on Monday, 25 May 2026, that it continues to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation and lodging services for nearly 21,000 injured and ill Palestinians across the Gaza Strip.

In its statement, QRC said the beneficiaries include children, women, and elderly patients receiving care at Al‑Wafa Hospital, under the project titled “Improving Access to Rehabilitation and Lodging Services in Gaza and North Governorates.”

The initiative covers physical, psychological, and occupational rehabilitation, alongside lodging assistance, reflecting QRC’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.

Officials emphasized that the program is designed to restore dignity, improve quality of life, and expand access to essential medical and social services for those most affected by the crisis.
