Qatar PM meets Swedish FM to strengthen ties and support mediation efforts

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al‑Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, held talks on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, with HE Maria Malmer Stenergard, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, during her official visit to Doha.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Qatar and Sweden, with both sides exploring ways to expand cooperation across political, economic, and social fields.
