A statement by Qatar Museums (QM) said that it has won an impressive total of 29 awards in the 47th Annual Telly Awards, one of the most prestigious international competitions that celebrate outstanding video and television content. This achievement underscores the impact of QM's digital storytelling success and dedication to illuminating Qatar's rich heritage through innovative, cutting-edge media with audiences worldwide.


The awards were won by 10 titles released from early 2024 until the end of December 2025. Honored in multiple categories including Museums & Galleries, Documentary, Promotional, Gaming and Public Awareness and Craft with productions from QM chosen from over 13,000 entries received worldwide.

Qatar Museums won a total of 29 Telly Awards.

The awards included:

3 Gold Awards
17 Silver Awards
9 Bronze Awards

  • Winning films were selected from over 13,000 global entries.

  • Awards recognized excellence in storytelling, creativity, and digital media production.


Gold Award-Winning Productions

 

  • MATHAF – Winner in the General – Museums & Galleries category.

  • I.M. Pei: A Museum on the Water – Winner in the General – Museums & Galleries category.

  • King of Dunes: Saeed Al-Hajri – Winner in the General – Automotive category.


Promoting Qatar's Cultural Story


Director of Digital Experience at Qatar Museums, Asma Yacoub Al Jefairi, said the achievement reflects the institution's mission to present Qatar's story as a living and evolving conversation. She emphasized that digital storytelling can connect people across cultures and make heritage more accessible and personal for audiences worldwide.

The competition honors outstanding work in:

All 10 award-winning films submitted by Qatar Museums are available to watch on the institution's YouTube channel.
