A premium space for high-level networking
Designed to capture Qatarās signature hospitality, the lounge offered guests private meeting spaces, premium food and beverage, and curated activities throughout the four-day festival. The setting was tailored for high-level networking, drawing corporate partners, C-suite executives, elite athletes and celebrities from across the worlds of sport, business and entertainment.
A growing partnership
The activation marked the second consecutive year that Visit Qatar has hosted a lounge at Fanatics Fest NYC, and the first with Qatar Airways joining as a partner to elevate the hospitality offering. The collaboration unites Fanatics Fest NYC ā a marquee live event celebrating sports and fandom ā with Visit Qatar, the primary marketing arm of Qatar Tourism, and Qatar Airways, the multiple-award-winning carrier. Qatarās presence is underpinned by a five-year strategic partnership between the State of Qatarās Government Communications Office (GCO) and Fanatics, aimed at advancing cooperation across sport, entertainment, retail and fan engagement.
Fanaticsā Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, Tucker Kain, has highlighted the eventās ability to bring together a diverse mix of fans, brands, leagues, athletes, celebrities and industry leaders in one place, welcoming Qatar Airways into the partnership to further elevate the exclusive hospitality on offer. GCO Director HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani has described the festival as a valuable platform to engage influential audiences, strengthen industry relationships and introduce visitors to the experiences that define Qatar.
Sport and entertainment as a bridge
The lounge reflects a broader strategy in which Qatar uses sport and entertainment as a bridge for cultural exchange and a means of strengthening international partnerships. By placing its hospitality at the heart of a major New York event, Qatar aimed to deepen dialogue between cultures, broaden cooperation with global industry players, and reinforce its standing as a leading destination for tourism, business and major events. With more than 1,000 guests passing through over the four days, organizers pointed to the activation as a standout feature of this yearās festival.
