In 2023, Qatar topped the Quality of Life Index by Numbeo with a score of 169.77, surpassing regional standards. Factors such as robust purchasing power, safety, and healthcare contributed to its high ranking. Low crime rates and quality healthcare further boosted Qatar's exceptional score.

Qatar boasts a 'very high' ranking on the Purchasing Power Index (127.79) and Safety Index (84.56), along with a 'high' position on the Health Care Index (73.13), as per Numbeo's Quality of Life Index. In contrast, its Climate Index and Pollution Index are labeled as moderate, while the Cost of Living Index, Property Price to Income Ratio, and Traffic Commute Time Index are deemed low.

Comparatively, the UAE scored 162.41, Saudi Arabia 149.43, Bahrain 144.59, and Kuwait 134.57 on Numbeo's Quality of Life Index as of December.

Numbeo serves as a comprehensive database for cost of living and quality of life metrics globally, incorporating various factors such as crime rates, healthcare, transportation, and more.

Consistently, Qatar retains its position as the world's 'Safest Country' in the Numbeo Crime Index for five consecutive years since 2017. Doha has also been repeatedly recognized as one of the safest cities. In 2021, Qatar ranked within the top 20 countries in Numbeo's Healthcare Index with a score of 73 points.

Through continual investments and effective strategies, Qatar has excelled in safety, healthcare, and peace, garnering top spots in international rankings. These achievements highlight the nation's commitment to enhancing the quality of life for both citizens and residents.

Five Qatari hospitals were listed among the world's top 250 academic medical centers by Brand Finance, a UK-based brand valuation consultancy, in February 2023. Additionally, in 2022, Qatar ranked first in the Arab world and 18th globally in the Health Care Index.

In 2022, the Global Peace Index recognized Qatar as the most peaceful country in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, securing the 23rd position among 163 countries worldwide.

Qatar led among 20 Arab states in an assessment index focusing on the quality of life for Arab citizens, as indicated by a study conducted by the Gulf Centre for Studies and Research, affiliated with the University of Exeter in 2022.
