Qatar Has Declared An Extension Of The Gaza Truce For An Extra Day

Dr. Al Ansari announced a one-day extension of the Gaza ceasefire agreed by Palestinians and Israelis

Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, the Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, declared that both Palestinian and Israeli parties have agreed to extend the humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for an extra day, scheduled for Thursday, November 30, 2023.

The truce between Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) and Israel will maintain the same terms as before, encompassing a ceasefire and the facilitation of humanitarian aid. This agreement is within the collaborative mediation efforts involving the State of Qatar, along with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official spokesperson affirmed to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that escalated endeavors persist towards achieving a lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
