Qatar Central Bank Declares Jan 1, 2024, As A Financial Institutions' Holiday

Qatar Central Bank announced a year-end holiday for financial institutions

Qatar Central Bank released a circular on December 28, 2023, declaring the year-end closing as an official holiday for financial institutions.

Based on the decision of the Council of Ministers no. (6) for the year 2008 on determining the official holidays in the country, Monday, January 1, 2024 is decided to be an official holiday for all the financial institutions, Qatar Central Bank, Qatar Financial Markets Authority and Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority on the occasion of the year-end closing.

Work will be carried out next Tuesday morning, January 2, 2024.
