Qatar Sets Summer Timings for Public Schools Effective May 3

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has confirmed the summer schedule for Qatar’s public schools, effective from 3 May to 3 June 2026, covering all stages from kindergarten to secondary, as well as administrative staff and teachers.

 TIMINGS:

• Kindergarten & Pre‑K: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Primary: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Preparatory: Daily starts at 7:00 am; Sunday–Wednesday until 12:45 pm, Thursday until 12:30 pm
• Secondary: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 12:45 pm
• Administrative & Teaching Staff Timings: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 1:15 pm

Officials emphasized that the adjusted timings are designed to ensure smooth operations during the summer period while maintaining efficiency across all educational stages.
