Qatar Airways has confirmed the resumption of flight operations between Doha and several major Middle Eastern cities including guaranteed daily services to the United Arab Emirates and Syrian markets.

Qatar Airways will now recommence daily flights to Dubai (DXB) from 23 April 2026, the carrier also has a retired daily service back to Sharjah (SHJ), along with a newly scheduled addition that consists of daily service starting on 1 May 2026 to Damascus (DAM).

This follows the earlier announcement made by Qatar Airways, mid-April that confirmed its Flight Schedule for more than 150 destinations across six continents with gradual returns of these resumptions.

Qatar Airways urges travellers to keep checking its official website or app, and check that their contact details are accurate and up-to-date.

Eligibility You have a guaranteed booking with travel dates between 28 February and 15 September 2026.

  • Free date change to a new travel date up to 31 October 2026 when rebooking on Qatar Airways operated flights – subject to availability and seasonal fare time period.

  • You can make more free changes in case of any disruption with your flight until 31 October 2026.

  • Refund of the value of an unused ticket. However, refunds may take 28 working days to process.
