Qatar Airways posts QR 7.08bn profit in FY 2025/26 with 41.8m passengers and 86% punctuality

Qatar Airways Group has reported a post‑tax profit of QR 7.08 billion (US$ 1.94 billion) for the financial year 2025/26, underscoring the airline’s resilience amid a final quarter marked by significant geopolitical developments. The results reaffirm its position as one of the world’s most robust aviation groups.

The airline carried more than 41.8 million passengers, maintaining extensive global connectivity through Hamad International Airport, a hub that continues to serve as a critical gateway linking the Gulf with Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Qatar Airways also sustained its reputation for operational excellence, achieving an 86% on‑time performance rate, placing it firmly among the top five most punctual carriers worldwide.

Officials highlighted that the results reflect the Group’s ability to combine financial strength, operational reliability, and global reach, reinforcing its leadership in international aviation.
