Qatar Airways Ranked Among World's Top Five Most Punctual Airlines in 2024

Qatar Airways has secured the fifth spot among the world's most on-time airlines for 2024, according to the latest report by Cirium. The airline achieved an impressive 82.83% on-time arrival rate, with 99.30% of its 200,230 total flights tracked and a completion factor of 99.72%.

Leading the global rankings, Aeromexico claimed the top position with an 86.70% on-time arrival rate from 196,911 flights, closely followed by Saudia Airlines in second place with an 86.35% punctuality rate across 192,560 flights. Delta Air Lines ranked third with an 83.46% on-time arrival rate from over 1.7 million flights, while LATAM Airlines secured fourth place with an 82.89% punctuality rate across 551,885 flights.

Qatar Airways' hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), also ranked among the world's top 10 most punctual airports in 2024. The airport recorded an 81.38% on-time departure rate, with 249,439 flights tracked across 194 routes. Additionally, HIA witnessed remarkable growth, serving 52.7 million passengers in 2024—a 15% increase compared to the previous year.

These rankings highlight Qatar Airways' and HIA’s commitment to operational efficiency, reinforcing their positions as key players in the global aviation industry.
