QMD Issues Warning for Thundery Rain Associated with Strong Wind and High Sea

Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Tuesday will be moderate temperature with some clouds becomes partly cloudy and chance of scattered rain at Northern areas maybe thundery, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thunder rain at northern areas associated with strong wind.
Offshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at northern areas, the report added, warning of expected thunder rain at northern areas associated with strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 KT gusting to 25 KT at northern areas during thundery rain.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 KT reaches 25 KT at northern areas during thunder rain Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 FT rises to 4 FT at times. Offshore it will be 2 to 4 FT rises to 8 FT at northern areas during thunder rain.
