Primark to open at Doha Festival City on 29 October 2026

Primark, the international fashion retailer known for affordable fashion and everyday essentials, has announced the opening dates of its first stores in Bahrain and Qatar in partnership with Alshaya Group.

Primark to Open First Bahrain Store in September

Customers in Bahrain will experience Primark for the first time when its store opens at City Centre Bahrain on 23 September 2026.

The launch will introduce Primark’s popular range of trend-led fashion, everyday essentials and value-focused products to shoppers in the country.

First Qatar Store Coming to Doha Festival City

Primark will make its Qatar debut on 29 October 2026, with its first-ever store opening at Doha Festival City.

The opening will give customers access to Primark’s range of fashion, beauty and home products, combining current trends with affordable prices.

Opening Day Celebrations Planned

Both Bahrain and Qatar store launches are expected to feature the energetic in-store experience associated with Primark.

Customers can look forward to entertainment, giveaways and special activations designed to make the opening celebrations memorable.

Primark Expands Its UAE Presence

Alongside its GCC expansion, Primark will continue investing in its existing presence in the UAE.

A second floor at the Mall of the Emirates store is scheduled to open in November 2026. The expanded space will introduce a significantly larger menswear and Primark Home offering.

The expansion will also increase capacity on the first floor, giving shoppers a wider selection and improved product availability across womenswear, kidswear, accessories and beauty.

Primark Welcomes Customers Across the GCC

Ghansham Pindoria, Vice President of Primark Middle East, said the company is excited to bring the Primark experience to customers in Bahrain and Qatar for the first time.

He highlighted that the new stores are intended to be more than retail locations, offering customers destinations where they can explore fashion, beauty and homeware at affordable prices.

GCC Expansion to Continue in 2027

Primark’s expansion across the GCC is expected to continue into 2027, with further store openings planned.

The upcoming expansion includes a new store at Aventura Mall in Kuwait and a second Qatar store at Villaggio Mall.
