Match Hospitality, the exclusive rights holder around the world to the FIFA hospitality program, today announced the pre-sales of the FIFA World Cup Qatar2022 ™ hospitality program has touched a record US $ 90 million.

The pre-sales phase supervised by Match Hospitality - the only company designated by FIFA to promote and exclusively sell comprehensive commercial hospitality packages for official tickets to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ™ either directly through the company or through its network of sales agents.

Match Hospitality also announced the appointment of 27 internationally reputed sales agents in 39 countries around the world to sell the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 hospitality program packages as part of an international tender that the company had launched to select agents specializing in travel and sports hospitality.

The appointed agents pledged that their total sales would exceed 260 million US dollars, so that FIFA would set another record at the level of targeted sales of hospitality packages in the pre-sale phase, which far exceeds the pledges of Match Hospitality agents at the same stage during The FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 ™ and FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 ™.

Official sales agents, under a mandate from Match Hospitality, have the right to sell official hospitality packages, including match tickets and optional travel packages that include accommodation, flights, domestic transfers and other travel services.

Commenting on this, Jaime Berum, CEO of Match Hospitality, said: “We are pleased to confirm that the turnout for following the FIFA World Cup is stronger than ever. We have seen a remarkable global response in the pre-sale stage and witnessed the interaction of prominent sales agents with enthusiasm and professionalism with the invitation to submit in our bid for the hospitality program despite the unprecedented challenges imposed by the Corona pandemic in recent months, which made us increasingly confident in the presence of enthusiasm and great interest in the hospitality program for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”

“Qatar promises the world to organize an impressive tournament, and it depends on a number of key features that distinguish the next World Cup, the most important of which are the proximity of the eight stadiums to each other and their location in the city of Doha or a short drive from it, in addition to its possession of unique attractions and stadiums Dazzling, designed on the latest international style, as well as for its warm hospitality and Arab hospitality. These unique features of the World Cup will help provide an amazing and unprecedented hospitality experience,” he added.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ™ hospitality program offers packages that include official tickets and a wide range of field services within the stadiums, including luxury food and beverages, distinctive parking, entertainment facilities and other additional services such as accommodation and flight.

And Match Hospitality also has the exclusive right to provide hospitality services in private suites, lounges and temporary buildings within the security perimeter of the stadium. The hospitality program services are divided into five categories that fall into three levels, namely the luxurious level, the businessman level, and the entertainment level, in order to meet the customers' preferences, needs and budgets.

Nick Brown, Director of Commercial Revenue at FIFA, said: “We are delighted to see this exceptional interest in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ™ which will provide an opportunity for the world to come together in a global football festival that will take place after a difficult period the world has gone through. FIFA's hospitality program has a proven track record of providing an amazing array of services, and by the end of 2022 we will provide our customers with world-class services and a distinguished level of hospitality so that they can enjoy an experience that will remain in their memories.”
