The Primary Heath Care Corporation will launch, starting Sunday, the Back to School campaign on the occasion of the start of the new school year 2021-2022, aiming at promoting the efforts to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.
The three-week campaign targets all public schools and kindergartens in the State of Qatar, and focuses on students and school staff, in addition to parents.
The campaign will highlight the most important precautionary measures necessary to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 and the spread of infection among students and school workers, in addition to the most common communicable and contagious diseases among students, such as chickenpox, influenza, lice, hand, foot and mouth infection, and scabies.
In order to ensure a healthy and safe school environment, the PHCC stated that the school health protocol on precautionary measures for health and safety during the pandemic in public schools was updated. The protocol includes all precautionary and preventive measures and comprehensive checklists that help the school team to follow up the school environment meticulously and daily. (QNA)
