Metrash2 is available for free.

The General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) has launched a new 'Claim Accident' service on the Metrash2 app that enables users to register an accident report against an unknown person in cases of minor accidents.

The new service has been developed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Information Systems of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).

According to Colonel Jaber Mohamed Rashid Odaiba, Assistant Director of the Media and Traffic Awareness Department, this initiative is one of the traffic investigation services that have been added recently. Today, most traffic investigation services have been completed except for serious accidents service that requires the presence of police.

Since the start of 2020, the Department launched a set of traffic services on the Metrash 2 application, including:

• replacing vehicle plates

• cancelling vehicles

You can also use the Metrash2 app for the following:

• violation objection

• replace lost or damaged license

• minor accident reporting

• issuance of a violation report

• transfer or release mortgage

• enquiry

• payment of fines

• ownership transfer (significant or normal plates)

Who can use the Metrash2 app?

• individuals

• institutions

• companies

NOTE:

• To use the app, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid ID.

• The mobile number used for registration on the app should also be registered under your name.

All MoI e-services offered through Metrash2 are available in the following languages:

• Arabic

• English

• French

• Spanish

• Urdu

• Malayalam.

 

About Metrash2 Mobile Application

Metrash2 is available for free. It is the fastest channel to complete transactions and to pay service fees directly without the need to visit the Department headquarters, which saves time and effort. 

The app offers the residents of Qatar an easy way to access MoI services through their mobile devices. Services like enquiring about official documents, creating and paying for individual/company exit permits, enquiring about and settling traffic violations, etc. are made available through an easy-to-use user interface.

It requires a user to first register for the service and then download and install the application on his/her mobile device in quick easy steps.

More than 40 e-services were added to the Metrash2 application last year and it will be upgraded with more services and features.
