The Health Control Section of the Municipal Control Department, under Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipalities, conducted an awareness initiative at Al Khor Fish Market.

According to a recent statement from the Ministry of Municipality, the initiative focused on familiarizing workers with the crucial health standards essential for their duties in the market.

The campaign focused on promoting healthy practices in handling and storing fish. It also involved overseeing fish inspections during auctions to guarantee their safety, making sure they were free from any diseases, symptoms, or changes that would make them unsuitable for human consumption.
