Karwa bus services for FIFA Arab Cup 2021

Qatar' is set to host the FIFA Arab Cup 2021™ next week. With this, some roads will be closed from November 26 to December 4 2021.

Mowasalat (Karwa) will be providing special bus services to access the stadiums and other venues like Corniche, which will be closed to private vehicles during the tournament.

Here are the available Karwa bus services during the event:

• The non-stadium services will include Corniche Shuttle Service and Central Doha loops on B and C Ring Road.

• The stadium services will include Metro Shuttles and Park and Ride Shuttles

Metro Shuttles

i. Al Wakrah Metro Station to Al Janoub Stadium
ii. Free Zone Metro Station to Al Thumama Stadium
iii. Lusail Metro Station to Al Bayt Stadium
Park and Ride Shuttles
i. P54 to Al Bayt Stadium
ii. P36 and 34 to Education City Stadium
iii. P71 and P70 to Ras Abu Aboud Stadium
iv. P27 to Al Janoub Stadium

All MetroLink and MetroExpress Services will be extended operating hours to compliment Metro operations. 

Currently, Karwa is planning to use 600 buses, including a small number of electric buses, to deliver the stadium and non-stadium bus services and the capacity, based on the MOPH Covid directives, is limited to 75%.

Mowasalat has also modified its bus routes, timings, and dates. Find your way around the matches and events via the below guidelines:

Corniche Loop

The Corniche Loop will run from Nov 26 - Dec 4, 2021. The shuttles will operate at a 15-minute frequency.

C-Ring Road Loop

The C-Ring Road Loop will run from Nov 26 - Dec 18, 2021. The shuttles will operate at a 15-minute frequency.

B-Ring Road Loop

The B-Ring Road Loop will run from Nov 26 - Dec 18, 2021. The shuttles will operate at a 15-minute frequency.

Lusail to Al Bayt Stadium Metro Shuttle Hub

This service will connect the Metro to the Al Bayt Stadium through bus shuttles.

Freezone to Al Thumama Stadium Metro Shuttle Hub

This service will connect the Metro to the Al Thumama Stadium through bus shuttles.
