On 27 April 2026, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the summer timetable for public schools in Qatar applicable from 3 May to 3 June 2026.
Summer school hours for public schools:
Kindergarten (Kindergarten and Pre-K):
Sunday to Thursday: 7 am to 12 pm
Primary Stage:
Sunday to Thursday: 7 am to 12:30 pm
Preparatory Stage:
School starts: Daily at 7 am
School ends:
Sunday to Wednesday: 12:45 pm
Thursday: 12:30 pm
Secondary Stage:
Sunday to Thursday: 7 am to 12:45 pm
Summertime working hours for administrative and teaching staff in government schools:
Sunday to Thursday: 7 am to 1:15 pm
