Minister of Justice Meets IACA's Dean

HE Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohamed Al & Thomas Stelzer

HE Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohamed Al Ameri met today with HE Dean of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) Thomas Stelzer, who is currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation relations and partnership between the State of Qatar and IACA, and means to enhance them in the areas of capacity building and raising individual and institutional competencies in a way that leads to strengthening the rule of law.

HE Thomas Stelzer paid a visit to the Center of Legal and Judicial Studies (CLJS) at the Ministry of Justice, during which he was briefed on the center's systems, terms of reference, legal and judicial training programs, and ways of cooperation between the center and the academy.

The international official praised the efforts of the State of Qatar in combating corruption and supporting international cooperation to implement the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
