According to the daily weather report from the Department of Meteorology, the inshore weather until 6pm on Sunday will start with some clouds, transitioning to dusty conditions in some areas. By afternoon, it will become cloudy with heavy thundery rain. Strong winds and poor horizontal visibility are expected, along with the possibility of thundery rain in the afternoon.

Offshore, the weather will begin with scattered clouds before turning dusty and cloudy with thundery rain. The report warns of thundery rain accompanied by strong winds, high seas, and reduced visibility.

Inshore wind speeds are forecasted to range from northeasterly to southeasterly at 20-35 KT, gusting up to 50 KT in areas experiencing thunder rain. Offshore, wind direction will vary mainly between southeasterly and northeasterly at 6-16 KT initially, increasing to 20-30 KT with gusts up to 50 KT in areas affected by thundery rain.

Visibility is anticipated to be between 3 to 7 km inland, dropping to 1 km or less in some places. Offshore visibility is expected to be similar, ranging from 3 to 7 km and dropping to 1 km or less in some areas.

Inshore sea conditions are forecasted to be between 2 to 4 feet initially, rising to 5 feet during thundery rain. Offshore, sea conditions will also start at 2 to 4 feet, increasing to 7-12/16 feet with thundery rain.
