Jordan Thwarts 4 Infiltrators' Attempt to Cross Border

Amman, September 13, 2026 : Jordan foiled an attempt by four individuals to infiltrate across one of its border fronts, after border guards spotted them attempting to cross illegally.

Infiltrators Arrested, Referred to Authorities

Petra news agency reported that Jordanian forces handled the situation in accordance with the rules of engagement in force, successfully arresting the infiltrators before they could cross the border. They were subsequently referred to the competent authorities to complete the required legal procedures.

Armed Forces Reaffirm Commitment to Border Security

The Jordanian Armed Forces affirmed that border guard units continue to perform their duties with vigilance and determination, as part of their responsibility to protect the Kingdom's borders, preserve its sovereignty, and counter any infiltration attempts or illegal activities that could affect the country's security and stability.
