Iran UAE tensions
Iran’s military command has strongly denied allegations that it launched missile or drone attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE), amid rising tensions in the Gulf region.
According to an official statement, Iran’s armed forces said they had not carried out any such operations in recent days and insisted that any confirmed action would have been publicly announced.
The denial comes after the UAE claimed its air defence systems intercepted multiple aerial threats, including missiles and drones targeting key locations. While the UAE described the incidents as a serious escalation, Iran rejected the accusations as “baseless” and lacking evidence.
Iran also issued a warning, stating that any hostile action launched from UAE territory against its interests would trigger a “crushing response.”
The conflicting claims highlight growing uncertainty in the region, with both sides exchanging accusations as geopolitical tensions continue to intensify.
