Hamad Medical Corporation Introduces New Digital Services Through Lbaih Mobile App

HMC Expands Lbaih App with New Digital Healthcare Services

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has introduced a new set of digital services through its Lbaih mobile application, making it easier for patients to manage appointments, access medical information and complete selected healthcare-related payments digitally.

The latest update is part of HMC’s ongoing digital transformation programme, aimed at reducing waiting times, simplifying patient processes and improving the overall outpatient experience.

Confirm appointments through the app

One of the new features allows patients to confirm their medical appointments through Lbaih within 48 hours of their scheduled visit.

Once the 48-hour confirmation window begins, patients can no longer cancel or reschedule appointments through the application. Those who need to make changes during this period can contact HMC’s Nesma’ak service on 16060.

Electronic payments introduced

HMC has also introduced electronic payment for applicable appointment fees for residents as part of the first phase of the rollout.

The service is currently available at three HMC facilities:

  • Heart Hospital
  • Al Wakra Hospital
  • Communicable Disease Center

The phased approach is expected to make selected payment processes more convenient while reducing the need for patients to complete transactions in person.

Access radiology results digitally

Another major addition allows patients to view their radiology results and reports from all HMC hospitals through the Medical File section of the Lbaih application.

Radiology reports become available once they have been approved by the relevant physician, giving patients easier digital access to important information related to their care.

Lbaih expands its digital healthcare services

The Lbaih application was launched by HMC in July 2025 as part of Qatar’s wider push towards digital healthcare. The app already allows patients to view and manage appointments, access medical records and use AI-supported health self-assessment tools.

Since its launch, the application has been downloaded more than 300,000 times, demonstrating growing demand for digital healthcare services among HMC patients.

HMC said additional services are expected to be introduced through future updates, further expanding the range of healthcare processes that patients can manage digitally.

The latest improvements underline Qatar’s continued investment in technology-driven healthcare and HMC’s efforts to provide patients with faster, simpler and more convenient ways to access essential services.
