Doha: Director of Qatarās Government Communications Office (GCO), HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, met with HE Tomasz SadziÅski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the State of Qatar, in Doha.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation between Qatar and Poland and discussed ways to further strengthen relations, particularly in fields related to government communications, media and strategic engagement.
The discussions also touched on opportunities to enhance coordination and exchange expertise in areas of mutual interest, reflecting the growing cooperation between the two countries.
Sheikh Jassim has served as Director of the Government Communications Office since 2021, where his responsibilities include strengthening partnerships with media and international stakeholders and developing strategic cooperation in communications, technology and innovation.Ā
Ambassador Tomasz SadziÅski has served as Polandās Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Qatar since September 2025. He previously worked in economic diplomacy and served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Polish Embassy in Doha from 2019 to 2022.Ā
Growing Qatar-Poland Relations
Qatar and Poland have continued to expand cooperation across several sectors, including trade, investment, energy, technology and communications.
The two countries have also maintained regular diplomatic engagement aimed at identifying new opportunities for cooperation between public institutions and private-sector organisations.
Earlier in 2026, Sheikh Jassim and Ambassador SadziÅski also met ahead of Web Summit Qatar 2026, where they discussed the participation of a Polish delegation in the major technology and innovation event.Ā
The latest meeting further reflects the commitment of Qatar and Poland to maintaining close communication and developing practical areas of cooperation that support their bilateral relationship.
