Exhibition Showcasing Solidarity With Gaza Starts On December 21

Msheireb Properties and Doha Design District collaborate for Gaza solidarity design contest

Msheireb Properties and the Doha Design District orchestrated the 'Amplifying Voices of Palestine through Design' contest, demonstrating solidarity with Gaza's people.

Artists worldwide were encouraged to submit artwork showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of Palestine. A panel of industry experts, representing Msheireb Properties and iGuzzini, meticulously curated the chosen designs.

Four chosen designers, including Zainab AlShibani, Amanda and Jo Booabbood, Nasser Alkubaisi, and Fatima Abbas, will showcase their work at the grand opening exhibition on December 21. Their art will be prominently displayed in Sikkat Wadi Msheireb, located in Msheireb Downtown Doha.

The event welcomes the public, offering postcards featuring the 14 winning designs for sale. All proceeds will be donated to support Gaza's community through Education Above All. Shaikha Al Sulaiti, Senior Concept Manager at Doha Design District, emphasized the creative industry's duty to preserve cultural identity through visual representation. She expressed anticipation for exhibiting these winning designs as symbols of solidarity and hope.
