Endowments Ministry Launches "Meshka" App Offering 50 Digital Services to Public

Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has launched "Meshka," a new digital services application designed to serve as a unified online platform, giving the public access to a wide range of religious and guidance services through a modern, user-friendly interface.

Part of Broader Digital Transformation Push

In a statement issued Sunday, the Ministry said the launch reflects its ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and enhance the overall service experience for beneficiaries, in line with the Ministry's strategic plan. The initiative also supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 in building a more efficient, innovative government sector capable of harnessing digital solutions for the benefit of the community.

Over 50 Services Across Key Sectors

According to the statement, the application functions as a single integrated digital platform, bringing together more than 50 online services spanning several areas central to the Ministry's work — chiefly mosque services, Dawah and religious guidance, Hajj and Umrah affairs, and Holy Qur'an competitions.

The Ministry noted that the app is designed to strengthen public awareness of its digital offerings by combining accessible services with clear, directly linked information and procedures.

Mosque Locator and Facility Information

For mosque-related services, the app allows users to locate nearby mosques through interactive maps, offering details on each mosque's facilities and available services to make access more convenient.

Virtual Preparation for Quranic Competitions

For Qur'an competitions, the platform includes an integrated system that lets students register and train in a simulated environment mirroring real exam conditions, helping better prepare participants ahead of actual assessments.

Religious Guidance and Outreach Services

On religious outreach, the statement said the app gives users access to religious awareness materials, licensed Qur'an healers, and a channel for religious inquiries — reinforcing the Ministry's role in promoting sound religious understanding and simplifying access to trusted guidance.

Streamlined Hajj and Umrah Procedures

The application also supports pilgrims by speeding up registration for Hajj and Umrah, tracking submitted applications, and providing regulatory guidelines along with health and safety tips for those preparing to perform the rites.

Built on Secure, Integrated Technology

The Ministry said the app is built on an integrated technological framework that connects its various systems, ensuring smooth data flow and up-to-date information across services. It added that strong personal data protection measures underpin the platform, aimed at reinforcing public trust in its digital services.
