Dandy Ltd Secures QFMA Approval to Offer Forty Percent of Share Capital Through Book-Building

Dandy Ltd gains QFMA approval to offer 40% shares via book‑building

Dandy Ltd Company (Q.P.S.C.) (under conversion), a leading Qatari enterprise specializing in the manufacture and distribution of dairy, beverages, and ice cream products, has announced that it has received approval from the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) to proceed with an initial public offering of 40 percent of its share capital. The offer price will be determined through the internationally recognized book‑building mechanism.

In a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) website on Sunday, the company confirmed that the offering will be conducted under the Offering, Listing, Mergers and Acquisitions Rules issued by the QFMA Board pursuant to Decision No. (8) of 2025. The move is part of a broader package of measures aimed at attracting more companies to the capital market and expanding listing options available to investors.

The offering will take place in two phases. The first phase will target institutional investors, who will subscribe through the book‑building mechanism. This tranche comprises 12,360,000 shares, representing 30 percent of the offer shares. The second phase will open to the public, including Qatari individual investors and entities incorporated in Qatar, based on the price determined during the book‑building process. This tranche will comprise 28,840,000 shares, representing 70 percent of the offer shares.

The company added that the expected price per share, excluding offering and listing fees, will be set within a range of QAR 5.00 to QAR 5.20. Officials emphasized that the book‑building mechanism is widely used in global and regional markets, ensuring fair pricing by relying on institutional investors with the expertise and tools to assess securities accurately.

The approval underscores the ongoing cooperation between the QFMA and the QSE to strengthen Qatar’s capital market framework, diversify investment opportunities, and encourage more companies to pursue listings.
